Mini

The new mini park is up at LP. There's something like 15 features on slowpoke, it should be really fun. The PURE up/down rail has been sunk in the main park.  Looks like it is going to be cold this weekend so you should come to our free skate session at Talent Skate park this Saturday from 6 to 8pm. Helmets are required and waivers for anyone under 18.

MLK weekend

The temps are rising and snow is falling. The turn out for the comp was great. Lots of smiling faces, we got a great response about the park layout from all the riders. More stuff will be added soon to the lower section.  Lets see some video cameras in the park over the next few weeks. We want to see what big tricks are pulled in the park. Post your video and claim some internet fame. Results from the comp will be posted shortly.

P.S. Please don't make us have to police the park. You know the rules. NO SIDEJUMPING, NO STANDING ON THE JUMPS. play it safe respect gets respect. For more info on park safety visit this site.

Remember its only the first day of the jumps at Sugarbush. Feel them out before you start hucking. Have fun!

Progress

Park construction has been underway for two days.  Lots of snow being moved around. Come to the contest this weekend. Check out the Vans.com for the recap of the Mini Cup.  See if you can spot Juice in one of the photos.  You can also watch some video footage on Loon's website. Jeff Deforge has two shots in that as well.

This weekend

This weekend anyone who makes it to the mountain will be happy to see the new jump built at the base of Mount Ellen. Take it easy and make sure you check it out before corking up a big spin.  You don't want to miss out on the big park which is only about 8 days away from being open.

While we let the snow makers finish doing their thing. Some of the Park Krew and PURE team will be attending the VANS Mini Cup at Loon this Saturday. We will be filming our Sugarbush riders and posting a video soon after. The Krew is going to look at the Loon Park closely and take notes to develop the best park here at the Bush.

Next weekend is the second Billz 4 Skillz event. It will be a slope style event held in the big park at Mount Ellen.  The set up will be something like this... rails 2 wide 2 deep into 3 jumps in a row.

The following weekend Sugarbush Parks will be hosting a free skate session at Talent Skatepark.  It is from 6 pm to 8 pm. Anyone under 18 must have a waiver signed by their legal guardian. ALL RIDERS MUST HAVE A HELMET TO ENTER PARK.  more details on on the Sugarbush events calender

Big News

The weather has been in our favor the past week and the snow makers are working hard. The hike able rails at Lincoln Peak are back in. We mellowed out the kink box, put the gateway back up, and turned the down bar into park style. If you haven't been at the mountain, they put a few guns on the big park. Then Win and upper management authorized all snow making at Mount Ellen to focus on getting us what we need. Snow making will continue till next Tuesday!!!! Then we build. A big thanks goes out to Win and the snow makers

This week while were letting the snow pile up, the finishing touches will be put on our sponsor rails.
